I am seeking reelection to continue fighting for the constituents of District 4. The past four years have been both a challenge and an opportunity. Initially, District 4 faced both imagined and real issues affecting the distribution of city resources impacting our quality of life. This was coupled with challenges imposed by COVID-19 and the mitigation of the spread of the virus. Just getting to work became problematic. It was difficult to conduct meetings with social distancing and wearing masks. Eventually, we were able to make use of technology to implement virtual meetings while conducting the City’s business.

Through it all, my staff and I were able to coordinate with City Staff to resolve many issues of concern for District 4 residents. We met with various city departments, discussed constituent issues, and identified paths moving forward to offer best solutions. We continued to monitor the progress of City Staff efforts and follow-up with citizens so they were kept appraised of the status.

With your help, we have accomplished a lot to improve the perception of District 4 and our quality of life. But more work remains. I am seeking your support to continue the great work under a new mayor, a new city manager and city council representatives. I am committed to working together with you to make District 4 the paragon that other districts desire to emulate.
